Emily Mitchell
Dear sir/Madam,
I have been working for an Accountancy Firm – Frank Hirth for just over two years as a Receptionist/Office Assistant and am currently taking on a course for Academic & Business writing. I have grown to believe an Admin, Secretarial position is a perfect fit for my knowledge and desire. As you will see in my CV, I have been fortunate enough to gain a broad range of experience in my current and past employment areas.
My current role primarily consists of face to face contact and client professions, maintaining the office and helping the secretary team with any overdue tasks. I am a quick learner and have developed skills in remembering details from clients and Accountants to trigger specific needs and use the information to write up and create fast solutions. I have learnt to work under extreme pressure, and this has taught me how efficiency is key when it comes to office and admin deadlines. I see myself as a hard worker, so to ensure the office and daily tasks are delivered to a high service, I get into work early, to ensure there is adequate time before the busy day starts. Whilst reviewing and communicating with management and looking over emails and correspondence, I have gained confidence in dealing with all types of stakeholders both internally and externally, and only want to grow more. I have a creative side and love working with PowerPoint also.
With the experience I have acquired in practice and my mentality to learn, I believe I would be a positive addition to a hard working team. Teamwork, extending my skills and progressing within a fun, fast-paced inspiring environment is what keeps me stimulated and engaged. I feel confident within my job now, but I do feel I have learnt a lot more to move on that is why I am interested in this role, to take on new challenges and better myself within this position.
Yours faithfully,
Emily Mitchell
