A lot of the inspiration is sourced from the new HBO series Euphoria and we craft the characters looks around some of the coolest outfits on television. I also worked as an uncredited makeup assistant and prop stylist. To see my work check out my website: https://www.emilyleaffpond.com/films
Runner, The Bench (Aug, 2020) – Runner on a film set in Reigate for Gaton Films, under director Guy Taylor
Style Assistant, Charlotte Stockdale (July, 2018)- While interning at CHAOS, I was offered the experience to assist world-leading stylist Charlotte Stockdale on set for the CHAOS 69 Magazine in Corfu. There I worked with the photographer Yvan Fabbing and the model Zoe Barnhard. I worked behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly. I kept track of stock, suggested clothing choices and organised the sets.
Intern, CHAOS fashion and Styling Consultancy LTD (June 2018 and March 2019)- After working initially at CHAOS I developed a great relationship with them. I was then invited back to continue working for them. They made it clear that because of my consistent hard work and dedication that I was welcome back anytime and so I tried to return as much as I could during my breaks at University.
Set Design Team Leader, Camden School for Girls (June, 2017)- While at Sixth form on top of my studies I worked tirelessly to design, built, paint and construct the set and most of the props for our school production of Grease the musical.
Work Experience, Selfridges, London, Visual Management (March 2016- June 2016)- I completed two weeks of work experience at Selfridges where I build, painted and constructed props to be used all around the store. Due to the relationships, I built there and the hard work I committed to, I was invited back to help with the setting up of the Christmas store in June of 2016. There I did everything that was needed of me, including leading a team of recent university graduates on certain tasks. I also came up with creative display ideas including a way of creating candy to decorate the children’s department.
