Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver 2018 – Present
Operated various Heavy Goods Vehicles including articulated lorries. Carried out extensive pre-trip inspections, identified and addressed any faults immediately up on identifying them in order to set out on a route in a safe manner. Planned and executed efficient delivery routes by considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions and time constraints. Whilst out on a trip I was responsible for completing delivery paperwork, recorded milages and assisted with loading and unloading goods using different equipment such as tail lifts, pallet trucks and electric pallet trucks. Ensured that various types of goods have been securely loaded by using appropriate equipment such as straps.
