– My current position at John K. Phillips entails primarily urban and rural multidrop. From north Wales to Liverpool, Manchester, Wigan, and Warrington.
– I’ve worked with curtain side delivery, rear door loading bays, and tail lift drops.
– Delivered to a wide variety of locations, some of which can be extremely difficult for articulated lorries.
– Because of the way John K Phillips Group operates, we as drivers operate with trailers ranging in size from 13 to 16 feet. When hitching multiple trailers in a day, route planning and height checks are essential.
– I have confidence in securing and checking load manifests for discrepancies either with hazardous or non-hazardous packages.
– I keep good communication with my planning team to ensure as team we operate to the best standard we can in our day to day duties and deliver a robust and swift service to our clients.

– With 13 years of service as a proud member of the British army, I have participated in numerous operations and exercises around the world and in the UK, ranging from assisting with the covid 19 pandemic to providing transport and logistical support to UK battlegroups in Kenya as part of the (British Army Training Unit Kenya).
– Primary Communications manager with the responsibility to ensure communications networks and equipment are established maintained for operational readiness.
– Working as an instructor in a military training environment, providing trade and core military training.
– Excellent communication skills developed while working in challenging and sometimes stressful situations where clear and concise communication was required.
– Participated in joint nation and NATO exercises, meeting, communicating, and liaising with service personnel from various countries in order to collaborate and deliver the best possible output as efficiently as possible.
– Developed and honed leadership and public speaking skills, in addition to coaching and mentoring abilities whilst attending the Army Recruiting and Initial Training Command Staff Leadership School.

Personal achievments
· During my reporting year and recommendation to the rank of corporal, I was graded as the regiment’s highest lance corporal. Based on my contributions to the regiment during military exercises and the covid 19 pandemic.
· I received a brigade commander’s commendation for my efforts in running and maintaining a tactical Headquarters during NATO military exercises in Norway. During the peak of the pandemic, I took command of a mobile Covid 19 testing station. In a constantly changing and sometimes unpredictable environment, you must lead a strong and motivated team.
