Daisy
Hi!
I was so pleased to see your call-out for collaborations, I am London based and available to start immediately. I am fully flexible, and welcome a busy workload, making sure that all duties are executed in a timely manner. I have a full clean drivers licence and my own car.
I have a background in film, theatre and television, as a textile artist. I am looking to build up a portfolio to persuit a career as a stylist. I have worked in an abusndance of themes in costume and want to hone in on a niche.
My experience as a dresser and costume performance support assistant, at The Royal Opera House,
has refined my capabilities in following costume plots, updating continuity bibles, having on-site repair
kits and accurately detailing costume requirements. In this role I would also fix an abundance of
unusual repairs in a wide range of garments, I also own a heavy duty domestic sewing machine,
where I can work off-site appropriately.
I also have in depth experience as a textile artist, working on the feature film “Jurassic World”, Netflix
series “Cursed”, Sky series “intergalactic” and various theatrical productions. This role is an asset to
being a stylist, through my deeper understanding of fabrics and decorative techniques, I
am confident in the care and laundering of the garments. I have attatched a small sample of my previous work below.
Being a lover of all things fashion, I completed a vocational hair and make-up short course, where I
was taught the basics of on set make-up, where to buy and purchase industry standard make-up.
Because of this course, I feel confident in liaising with the shoot director/models in developing a
make-up look suitable for production.
Through my on-set experiences, I have demonstrated on-set etiquette and proficiency in supporting
actors and crew, which I believe is an essential part of the role.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Kind regards,
Daisy Claisse
