I have operated my own Motor Trade business for 21 years,with previous 10 years in car sales including Fleet and a Main dealer franchise, I have also operated a 7.5 tonne 2 vehicle transporter. Since closure of the business in February this year, I have undertaken a Diploma Level 3 Engineering & Technology (Railway based) including Personal Track safety. I have also obtained Class 2 HGV, CPC and Digital tachograph.

To supplement Driver training and Further Education I am presently working 4 days a week on a Self- Employed basis for BCA Logistics inspecting and collecting vehicles nationwide, the role is a company, main dealer franchise and customer facing role. Inspections are carried out using the latest technology EVA hand-held device, travel between jobs using public transport requires Initiative, Common sense, good geographical knowledge and the desire to get from A to B regardless.
