GES – Transport Compliance/Assistant Transport Manager
My role is to ensure all 5 depots across the UK are transport compliant.
Ges is a show- based company who design and build shows for the NEC, Olympia and exel. It is a time sensitive role which has to be managed to perfection to ensure vehicles doing put ins or pull outs are routed on time to gain the efficiency required for the smooth operation.
There are 100 trailers and 25 44 ton units at peak with vehicles ranging from vans to 26 tons complimenting the other side of the business.
I work within a team of 8 which include planners, administrating staff and transport supervisors.

I am part of a team of 3 people who cover transport hubs, DC’s and offices on a regular basis and report into the compliance manager on a regular basis.
• Ensuring legislation is kept up to date through Management System (Newground)
