My Professional Summary. I’m a dynamic patient and conscientious person who enjoys working with other people as part of a team taking onboard others ideas I also thrive working alone keeping myself motivated and focused. I excel at using my own initiative and will also diligently follow instructions to make sure all tasks are satisfactorily complete. Physically I’m fit and capable of performing manual tasks and intellectually adept at learning new skills to get the job done efficiently and correct. In my working life I have had experience in customer service and dealing with questions also conflict / Complaints and building company customer relationship and really enjoy the face to face interactions on a daily basis. Driving is my desired career path because i enjoy the open road and seeing new sights with many years experience in vehicles from cars to HGV 2 and now ive obtained my HGV 1 too.

Each day I start I perform my Daily checks then secure my load and perform associated tasks.

When I’m on the road I deliver Roof Trusses and Beams to customers on building sites large and small around the country.

I also undertake any other Duties requested by the management.

. My job is to drive a Class 2 18ton vehicle to deliver the company products to commercial customers in and around the Southeast and Kent.

. On a daily basis I undertake daily walk around checks of my vehicle checking it was road worthy.

. Each day I’m tasked with loading my vehicle safely and securing everything down with straps.

. While I’m on Customer sites I use a pallet truck and tail lift to undertake my delivery.

. If there is a shortage of deliveries I help out in the warehouse or clean and refuel vehicles

. On a daily basis I would undertake daily walk around checks of my vehicle checking it was road worthy.

. Each day I was tasked with loading my vehicle safely and securing everything down with straps.

. I Delivered insulation products to customers on building sites and residential addresses.

. Before during and after deliveries I Liaised with the Cordek office to update them on site access and address accuracy as Building sites can be dynamic.

.Whilst on Customer sites I helped unload the delivery with the help of the other workers on site in a safe manor.

. If on occasions there was a shortage of deliveries to take I would help out in the factory or warehouse with whatever needed doing.

.. My main task was to assist the Electrical and Plumbing tradesmen at Hayward’s Heath hospital during a Theatre refurbishment programme.
I Managed the safe passage of delivery vehicles and unloading materials.

. I was also responsible for ensuring covid restrictions were followed.

. One of my duties was to take photographs of the completed works for the Management team to present in meetings.

. I communicated with management and other members of staff on site via a radio taking the lead at busy times to ensure there wasn’t an overload of vehicles down on site at any one time.

. I created a waiting system where I recorded phone numbers and gave the waiting delivery vehicles designated . time slots and called the driver to let them know when it was their turn.

. My role was also to log the delivery driver and vehicle details while giving them a basic site health and safety rules Induction briefing.

Reason for leaving.

. I thoroughly enjoyed my position but unfortunately in March 2020 the country headed into lockdown the site closed and I was made redundant.
