Recovery Mechanic British Army 2016 – 2019

• Managed 4 HGV recovery vehicles, performed start up and vehicle checks on LGV/HGV and Armoured vehicles, checking fluids, electrics, tracks and tyres to ensure roadworthiness and overall mechanical serviceability in line with policy.
• Carried out health and safety inspections prior to going out to complete recovery tasks in line with the health and safety/manual handling regulations.
• Planning the route effectively using maps and sat-nav to maximise driving hours and maintain efficient fuel use ensuring deliveries were completed within governed and prescribed timings.

Junior Recovery Mechanic British Army 2015 – 2016

• Developed extended knowledge competencies in recovery tasks and driving LGV/HGV vehicles, through completion of a robust and monitored certificate of competence program, developing skills across a wide fleet of vehicles.
• Worked as part of the team to ensure lifting and towing equipment were in the best working condition to support daily tasks in line with the organisations operations.
• Taking excellent care of LGV/HGV recovery vehicles and Equipment resulted in less wear, tear and damages.

Infantry Soldier/Queen Guards British Army 2009 – 2014

• Provided security for the Queen and Royal Family on both residential and public ceremonial events, ensuring the highest levels of professionalism were displayed in the public eye as an ambassador of Her Majesty’s Forces.
