Charlie Partridge
Upon seeing your posting for a Fashion Stylist on Hirett, I was eager to forward you my resume to review.
The pursuit of my Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Fashion Styling and Production has prepared me for a position such as this; it has required a great deal of initiative, direction and organisation to carry out such a high level of independent study. Although the degree nurtured my creativity, it also required a considerable amount of resilience in order to develop confidence and self-assurance within myself and my work.
These qualities have been of great merit in the numerous positions I have held during and since my studies, working on editorials, campaigns, advertorials and lookbooks at magazines Wonderland and Elle UK and assisting stylists Thea Lewis Yates and Dee Moran. During these placements, I have gained extensive hands-on experience and developed my skills in the production process being responsible for liasing with brands and PR in regards to loans, documenting incoming and outgoing samples meticulously as well as preparing rails ahead of shooting .
In my spare time, I enjoy producing mood boards and conducting trend research using sources like BoF, WGSN and Vogue Business to stay up to date with fashion news. Throughout my time studying and working in fashion, I have endeavoured to create and maintain strong relationships with PR agencies, from TASK PR to POP PR and 1Granary.
I have attached my editorial styling portfolio to evidence my intuitive creative eye, comprehension of fit and form as well as my confidence in exploring texture and colour. As a dedicated and self-motivated professional with a keen eye for fashion trends as well as a recent education within the fashion industry, I have the capability to contribute to reaching the company’s goals.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss my experience and offer further insight into the skills I can bring to Qqnade.
Yours sincerely,
Charlie Partridge
