My main interests are styling and design particulally within menswear, along with a keen focus on trends and layouts through being a visual merchandiser and organising exhibitons at my University. These interests have grown through my degree in BA Fashion.

I have particular skills in taking to a task positively, accurately and immediately. This allows me to be flexible in multiple on going projects, showing that I am adaptable and organised.

Four years of strong Sales experience in produce and retail markets. I have proficient knowledge in Adobe softwares such as: Photoshop Illustrator InDesign I have excellent software skills in Microsoft Word,Powerpoint and Excel. Strong skills in industrial sewing and overlocking machines, pattern cutting manipulation and flat bed knitting machines.

ACHIEVEMENTS

2020 – I achieved the best denim sales in the Dorset region for Marks and Spencer due to my selling and visual merchandising skills.

2019 – I collaborated with the stylist for Wonderland ‘Anastaisia Busch’ where she used some of my collection pieces for her client ‘Yungfume’ to wear at the German festival ‘Splash’and other location shoots.

2019 – I showcased my final collection ‘BLOKE.’ at Graduate Fashion Week collective show. I was also nominated for the Design Portfolio Award. All garments were created and styled by myself.

2019 – I collaborated with the footwear brand ‘Size?’ to customise and re-invent the Reebok Slice trainer. My work was featured on their instagram and blog pages.

EXPERIENCE

2019 – VISUAL MERCHANDISER MARKS AND SPENCER

Reporting to the regional and store manager on completion of seasonal launches. I was the only Visual Merchandiser of the store taking responsibilty for the development of displays, styling mannequins improving layouts and using knowledge of recent trends for the specified target market.

2019 – STYLING ASSISTANT – RED OR DEAD SHOOT I assisted Ella Light’s Social Media shoot for the brand ‘Red or Dead’s’ new casual T-Shirt range. I gave directional imput in the shoot.

2016 – CATERER I worked at Eweleaze Eco-Friendly campsite. Shifts were up to 13 hours in a fast paced and demanding enviroment.

2018 – MENSWEAR INTERN – TED BAKER During my time I joined fabric supplier meetings and fittings with the outerwear team. At the end of the two weeks I delivered a presentation to the Senior Menswear Designer and department on the re-invention of Ted Bakers’ branding and logo placement.

2014-2017 – SALES ASSISTANT – NEW LOOK I have had experience in wall blocking, window dressing and visual merchandising for knitwear and accessories.
