Volunteering at Happy Tails, Mauritius October 2021 – September 2022 I have been volunteering at Happy tails sanctuary, working with the people there building and extending the sanctuary, while also helping out rescuing dogs and cats and also helping with daily duties -looking after all 143 dogs. And counting.

PRLV Transport, West Drayton – Manager

I started working at PRLV Transport as a driver, transporting high end kitchens to end users on behalf of our contracted clients and also transferring stock in between depots.
This included multi-drops, long distance driving and delivering heavy materials such as oak, granite,quartz and already assembled kitchen units.

After 3 years working as a driver I was promoted within the company to Manager, working with our clients and drivers implementing a great customer service and building strong relationships between customers and end users.

PRLV Transport started with 3 contracted depots which generated 50-60 deliveries each per week . During my time as Manager I was able to increase that to 12 contracted depots generating 600+ deliveries per week.

Daily duties as Manager

Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion.
Perform resource allocation and workload assignments according to delivery requirements.
Ensure that the team maintains a high level of competence and operational excellence.
Serve as primary contact for customer and client inquiries and concerns.
Develop and process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.
Report delivery status to customers and develop required delivery documentations.
Ensuring that a fleet of vehicles is operational in accordance with legislation and regulations.
Managing strict vehicle maintenance servicing schedules to minimize downtime.
Maintaining warehouse and storage facilities
Also delivering kitchens during busy periods
