Responsible for the operation of a sliced and unsliced bread producing bakery supplying all major multiples and own label products.
Responsible for maintaining fair and consistent staff approach and appraisals.
To ensure that the production plan is compiled and meet in line with the current agreed KPI’s, with regards to plant efficiency and waste.
Working closely with engineering, technical and dispatch functions of the site to ensure that channels to all support departments are open and that communication between each department is effective and supportive of the company’s goals.
Educating the workforce, to challenge the KPI’s using continuous improvement techniques such as SIC’s and 5’s.
Maintaining the audit ready culture that has been enforced, working British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Tesco Food Manufacturing Standards (PIU) for food safety quality and legality.
