WORK EXPERIENCE
Your Homes Newcastle June 2021 — December 2021 Warehouse Assistant

I have worked inside an NFS Warehouse as a kickstarter warehouse assistant on a 6 month temporary contract.

My duties included:
Unpacking furniture to fill up on stock.
Testing of new whites such as cookers, washers, fridge freezers, etc.
Disposing of all old and used furniture’s and whites.
Loading and unloading NFS vans.
Organising picks of white goods and furniture to be prepped for delivery.
Stock checking on a regular basis to ensure we are up to date.
Using trolleys for easier mobility of heavy white goods and furniture and other various manual handling tasks. Ensuring general housekeeping of the warehouse and following all health and safety guidelines.

Logo-Co June 2018 — February 2020 Printer

I have worked as a printer for a year as an apprentice and half a year as full time after at Logo-Co based in Camperdown Industrial Estate in Burradon.

My duties included:
Ensuring the workshop is kept tidy to make sure that health and safety was maintained at all times. Use teamwork to unload supplies from the courier van and load on deliveries.
Use attention to detail whilst weeding and printing artwork from the computer.
Use machinery to print artwork onto the clothes.
Organise clothing with correct paperwork into separate boxes.
Make sure boxes are secured and taped up, ready to be booked on and sent away.

Jolley Turf July 2017 — October 2017 Turf Supplier

I have been working on and off as a turf supplier for 4 months at Jolley Turf based in Seghill, Cramlington.

My duties included:
Use preparation skills to load the deliveries onto the trucks.
Use teamwork to load and unload turf from the trucks.
Organise turf rolls to properly place on the trucks making sure health and safety was maintained at all times. Use measuring skills and machinery to cut turf in right length.
Use attention to detail in inspecting quality of turf.
Cleaning client’s property after task is completed.
