In my recent job, I worked as a Transport Administrator, which gave me excellent leadership, supervision, communication skills, and customer service abilities that helped me meet and exceed a customer’s needs. My education provided me with strong technical skills, which helped me monitor and supervise logistics and changing supply chain management needs of customers. These skills make me feel I am an excellent fit for this position.
My experience in this role made me understand the complexities of managing multiple logistics and work-flow patterns. While in my recent employment as a Dispatcher, I have gained experience in international dispatches and attending to client queries. I worked closely with the delivery manager, assisting in logistic transport arrangements. My responsibilities included maintaining weekly order spreadsheets, attending weekly business meetings, and completing export paper works for international dispatches. Also, I assisted in managing vehicle maintenance schedules, assisting with paperwork for returns, and cross-checking client contracts to ensure deliveries were done per contracts.
