Aqib Hussain
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am currently in the final year of studying Building Surveying at Birmingham City University and working towards a 1:1. Having nearly completed my RICS degree I want to gain a first-hand experience in industry, so I can showcase my skills and abilities that I have acquired whilst studying this degree. My degree has always been a huge interest of mine and the broad range of uses for a Building Surveyor is a factor that drew me in. realistically, I am looking for any part-time work/ placement vacancies whilst studying which will prepare me for my career in becoming a Building Surveyor, after graduating, and working towards my APC in the future. Working in the industry would help me broaden my knowledge of Building Surveying and its many components. I think that your company is one of the best in the industry with years of expertise, hence why I want to be a part of it and leave my mark.
Working for an established company such as this would mean gaining knowledge and experience from one of the pioneers of Chartered Building Surveying. Over the three years of my course I have gained values of a competent, eager to learn and enthusiastic student who is willing to participate in all aspects of Building Surveying to refine my skills. With my hardworking ethic, competencies in computer software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp; and some experience in the use of Surveying equipment and the ability to effectively communicate and meet deadlines as well as someone who always works to the highest of standards. Some of the current projects I am working on within my course is the redevelopment of the King’s Heath train station with the aid of Birmingham City Council. As well as this I will be undertaking Surveys of commercial and residential buildings as part of my final year coursework.
I would like to thank you for your time I await hearing from you with great anticipation. CV is available upon request.
Aqib Hussain.
