I am currently working with the new Housing & Health Safety Rating System (HHSRS), which is the Government’s new approach to the evaluation for the potential risks to Health & Safety from any deficiencies in dwellings and also the decent homes standard. I am experienced in carrying out high quality House Condition and Energy Audit Surveys, following Government guidance and the computerised House Condition and Energy Audit Software System (BRELASS) developed by the Building Research Establishment (BRE). Undertaking work as a Building Surveyor, I have visited many regions across all of the United Kingdom for different local authorities where I have developed and gained valuable experience and knowledge in varying types of housing stock as diverse as the Shetland Isles to London, rural to urban stock profiles.
