job role – My duties were mainly condition surveys, maintenance surveys, asbestos surveys, drain surveys, property audits, arranging works on behalf of our clients and property managers. Insurance valuations for insurance companies such as aviva, CPD’s I have performed to our property managers to give them more of an insight to building matters.
Some of the contacts I have taken on include, road resurfacing, which included communal car parks being completely repaired. My role involved was inspecting original road, tendering, awarding to the work to the best contractor, over seeing any problems and then signing it off, the project total value could be from £7/8 K – £25K. One of the biggest jobs I was involved in, was loft works and replacement of roofs, on 6 eight Story blocks based in Birmingham. Each roof was valued at £35K and 10 lifts each valued at £12k. This was a very long process and dealing with this project as well as many others during this has been very rewarding for me as the final outcome was very successful.
