I have previously proven my ability to work well in a team in a high pressure top-end retail environment as well as my aptitude for customer service through my part time work at the renowned premium department store Selfridges and an award-winning wedding venue in Cheshire.

Education:

o   University (Metropolitan Manchester University 2019 – present): BA (Hons) Fashion Buying and Merchandising

o   Sixth Form (Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form 2017-2019): A-Levels English Literature, History and Statistics.

o   High School (Eaton Bank Academy 2012-2017): including 3 A*’s, 5 A’s 3 B’s.

Work Experience:

Selfridges temporary Sales Associate (part time October 2019-January-2020) – I provided customers with a premium and exclusive shopping experience tailored to their requests, in the women’s designer galleries department. This included advising customers on garments and going the extra mile to ensure a personalised experience.

Household and Catering Assistant at a wedding venue (part time 2017-2019) – I successfully worked in a team delivering high quality service and catering to wedding parties.

Volunteering for Duke of Edinburgh (2016-2017) – I volunteered at my high school every week throughout year 11, this included helping to set up and organise events for charities such as comic relief, children in need and Gambia.

Buddy system (2017) – In my first year of college I have participated in a group that visits primary schools to read to the children and educate them on difficult topics such as bullying.

Eaton Bank Representative (2015-2017) – Throughout my later years at Eaton Bank I was invited to participate in parent’s evenings as well as multiple induction days when I helped new students to integrate into the school.
