We are now looking for a Class 1 Weekend Driver to join us on a part-time, permanent basis, working 16 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00 midnight and 12 noon. There may be an option of working more days during the week based on the needs of the business.

We completely understand how important your preferred start time is to you, and we will do our utmost to accommodate it. However, we may need to ask for a little flexibility at certain times.

The Role

As our Class 1 Weekend Driver, you will transport goods between Yusen sites and distribution centres within a 120-mile radius of our Grange Park site.

You’ll ensure timely deliveries and collections between depots while upholding the highest safety and driving standards at all times.

Please note, this role may involve minimal manual handling activities.

About You

To be considered as a Class 1 Weekend Driver, you will need:

An LGV Class 1 licence with a minimum of 12 months’ commercial driving experience
No more than six points on your licence
A current CPC Driver qualification
A current Digital Tachograph Card
Good working knowledge of working time regulations
Flexibility around working hours to fit around the needs of the business
