We are now hiring HGV Class 1 Tipper drivers based at our Runcorn Depot – Experience is required

Rates of Pay

▪ Monday to Friday day

▪ Guaranteed 60 hours per week

▪ £13.00ph Monday – Friday

▪ £12 daily meal allowance (tax free)

(equivalent to £14.28ph on a 60hr week, inc meal allowance)

▪ £17ph Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday

(equivalent to £18.92ph on an 8hr day inc meal allowance)

▪ Two weekly pay

Holiday Entitlement

▪ 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays

▪ Holiday pay based on average taxable earnings up to the previous 52 weeks worked

Job Specification

▪ Safely operating bulk tipper trailers to and from various locations such as construction sites and quarries

▪ Manoeuvre the vehicle into loading/unloading positions while safely operating the trailers rear door and electronic roof sheet

▪ Carefully operate tipping mechanisms to load and unload materials on site

▪ Monitor the weight of materials being loaded to avoid exceeding the truck’s capacity

▪ Assist with loading and unloading materials as required

▪ Ensuring on time delivery of goods

▪ Attention to detail is essential

▪ Full training offered for the right candidate

Vehicles

▪ You will be provided with your own dedicated modern Scania with an average age of under 2 years old

▪ Mid lift and tag axle R-Series Highline with full leather trim, inverters and fridges

▪ Tipper trailers are equipped with electronic roof sheet and manual rear doors/ shoot.

▪ You will be the only driver except for annual leave and exceptional circumstances

▪ Having pride in your vehicle and work ethic is essential

▪ All units are maintained to a high standard by Scania

▪ Vehicles are professionally washed weekly
