WPRG have an opportunity for Class 2 drivers to work on a full time or part time basis in Thamesmead

Our Client based in Thamesmead is one of the UK’s leading food & drink wholesalers. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to independent retailers stores. This job involves delivering roll cages and using rigid vehicles fitted with a tail lift.

Deliveries to various stores around the south of England in a class 2 vehicle

Average of 10/11 hours per shift
Pushing roll cages
5 and 6 days per week available
AM (0400-1000) and PM (1100am-1500pm) Starts available but must be flexible
Assessment required – Full training provided upon successful assessment
All drivers must be presented appropriately and require a good level of English skills due to the nature of the job.

Pay Rates HGV 2 (PAYE):

Salary – option 1: £16.10 basic hours / £18.32 overtime + holiday pay on top
Salary – option 2: £18.04 basic hours / £20.53 overtime – no holiday pay available with this option
Minimum 9.5hrs guaranteed pay per shift
You must fulfil the following for this position:

Hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
Holds a Digital tachograph card
Holds a CPC card
No more than 6 points for insurance reasons – No mobile phone usage (CU80)
Valid UK Licence – C+E / HGV 1 / Class 1
