Water Treatment Products Ltd manufactures specialty chemical products for a wide range of industries. A vacancy has arisen for energetic and self-motivated person to work as a Van/HGV Driver delivering the Company’s products throughout the UK.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES:

Regular van deliveries into London, with overnight stays in a hotel.
On occasions driving up to 26-ton HGV vehicles to locations throughout the UK to cover staff absences/holidays or when a driver’s mate is required.
Follow written and verbal works instructions.
Pumping over of water treatment chemicals.
Assist Operations Manager/transport supervisor to meet deadlines.
Loading and delivering of company products.
Assist Operations Manager in achieving scheduling requirements.
Wear all personal protective equipment provided.
Perform other duties as assigned, for example loading/unloading of vehicles, assisting transport supervisor, other yard work as and when required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Must hold a Full HGV Class 2 license and CPC, Class 1 license an advantage but not essential.
ADR would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
Flexibility as driving is required during and outside of normal working hours requiring a minimum of 2-3 nights away per week with paid supplements.
Strong communication and team skills complemented with a strong work ethic are required.
Good time keeping and attendance are essential.
Self-motivated and have the ability to handle a range of tasks and work on own initiative.
