Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a HGV Class 2 Tramper to join our Rochdale team.

Duties:
– Safely operate a curtain sided truck to transport goods and materials
– Load security using internal and ratchet straps
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
– Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively

Qualifications:
– Valid Cat C Licence, Tachograph card and CPC
– Experience as a HGV driver, preferably with experience with tachograph regulations and efficient driving
– Able work flexible hours
– Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). We can help you with the rest of the process.
