Salary: Hourly £13.50 to £14.00

Location: Renault Trucks Scotland, Bellshill

Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required.

We at Renault Trucks Scotland are seeking an HGV Collection and Delivery Driver to join our team at the Bellshill site. You’ll be responsible for collecting and delivering new and used trucks to our valued customers. This isn’t your average driving role — one day you might be handing over a brand-new T High, and the next, collecting a customer’s truck for its MOT. You’ll need to work well independently, take pride in delivering great service, and enjoy the variety that comes with each day being different.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of both sides of business: sales and the workshop, who are all focused on providing great service to our customers. The role is varied and includes:

Collection and Delivery of vehicles: Support the workshop with collecting customer vehicles for MOT, service and maintenance as well as delivering and handing over New and Used Renault Trucks and collecting chassis from bodybuilders
Support: Assist in other areas, including the workshop and ensuring vehicles are clean
Key Skills and Competencies:
Driving Skills: Hold a Class 2 / Class 1 license with a maximum of 3 points and a Driver CPC card (current).
Customer Service: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Manual Handling: Be capable of undertaking manual handling tasks if required.

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
