For our new UK branch in Warrington we are looking for a:

HGV Driver
Location: Warrington
Job description:
Are you a versatile HGV driver who takes pride in doing your job to a high standard? We are looking for someone to support our rental business who can work on a wide variety of rental equipment. This will include delivery of rental equipment, performing simple maintenance tasks and keeping a tidy, organised and safe workspace. This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opportunities for occasional weekend and overtime work.

Your focus:
Operate a heavy truck / crane truck for delivery and set up of various types of United Rentals equipment for customers
Deliver, set-up and de-install equipment (e.g. tanks, manifolds, hoses, berms, pumps, filtration and generators) at customers’ sites
Equipment inspection, maintenance and repair (pre & post-delivery)
Provide customer handover of rental equipment
Safety conscious
Assist with yard inventory
Keep tools, yard and workshop clean and safe
Maintain driver logs and other regulatory record keeping requirements

Your profile:
Full Driving License C+E and experience on a large truck (over 8000 kg)
Crane Truck/Hi-Ab License desirable (not essential, as training will be provided)
ADR desirable (not essential, as training will be provided)
Team player and independent worker with high flexibility
Mechanical aptitude desirable
Ability to be on-call 24 hours per day (on a rota)
Ability to make occasional overnight trips when required
Good oral and written communication skills essential
