Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled, ADR (Packages) AM Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team in Deeside. We require a day tramper driver who will be responsible for distributions and collections across the UK. This position is Monday to Friday with the opportunity for weekend work. There is an opportunity for a permanent position if desired.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety regulations and excellent driving skills, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in compliance with all relevant laws.

This position pays breaks and a minimum 10 hours per day and is Monday to Friday with 4 nights out each week.

Pay Rate

Inclusive of holiday pay:

£18.00 per hour

Night out allowance is £25.00.

Duties

Making collections and deliveries across the UK.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of freight transported.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling hazardous materials.
Communicate effectively with planners, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry.
Assist with loading and unloading of load as required.
Experience

Proven experience as an ADR driver desired.
Valid HGV licence with appropriate endorsements for driving ADR(Packages).
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting hazardous materials.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with delivery schedules and documentation.
