Reporting to the Transport Manager, your core responsibility is to arrange collections and deliveries for the whole of our UK network. Time is everything so you need to effectively plan and manage all jobs, and your own time.

In doing so you:

Act as the main contact for all drivers, customers, suppliers and internal departments such as Warehouse and Customer Service;
Ensure that all compliance processes are followed without fail and in line with legal requirements;
Use IT software Road Runner to route deliveries and provide accurate and effective information to drivers.
You also assist with all other aspects of the transport operation as required. This includes helping us to win new business so that we generate additional revenue and maximise vehicle utilization.

The other baseline requirements are:

5 A to C grade GCSEs;
2 years of Transport Planning experience, ideally with a fleet of over 10 vehicles;
Highly IT literate with a strong knowledge of driver hours, tachograph and WTD legislation.
