Job description

The Staffing Network is a logistics labour provider across the UK and we are working in partnership with Local Authorities, who are seeking a number of professional HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers for ongoing work, which will lead to temp to perm position for the right candidate.

Duties:
– Shift beginning from 6:00am working until job completion.
– Being part of a 3 man crew to collect Domestic and Commercial waste in and around the local Borough
– Help with loading as and when required to assist the crew in completing all work on time and in a safe and controlled manner

Experience:
– Minimum of 1 year Experiance
– Full and valid Class 2 licence with in date CPC and Tacho.
– No more than a maximum of 6 points on your licence, and no DR, DD, or IN convictions for that may affect insurance.
– Hold a valid CPC and Driver Card
– Be physically able to carry out manual fast paced work
– Good team working skills and good communication skills
– Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
– Previous experience working with waste is an advantage but not essential
