Full job description
The Industrial Work Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for our longstanding clients in Heysham on both days and roaming. Ideally, we are looking for both full time and part time vacancies, spilt weeks, odd days and also weekend work. Drivers who are happy to work part weeks and to rotate round our substantial client base for their ongoing workload increases. This role suits people who enjoy the change of pace day to day and keeps the job interesting.

The Companies

– We work with the majority of well respected haulier’s within the local area, most of whom have multiple depots across the UK & Ireland.

The Role:

– Monday to Friday (either full or part weeks available – split weeks and weekends)

– Both Roaming/Tramping and Day work available.

– UK Mainland deliveries and collections.

– Clean General Haulage.

– Weekend work available.

The Ideal Candidate:

– Ideally have at least 2 years class 1 experience. (Not necessary for all roles and can be shorter subject to the end users insurance)

– Good working knowledge of UK ports.

– Must be willing to use phone/tablet for vehicle & trailer checks as well as receiving work details through an app.

– Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

– Must have excellent customer service as company image is paramount.

What’s on offer:

– Both full time and part-time positions available.

– Tramping/Roaming or Days.

– Weekly Pay.

– Possibility of Temp to Perm if interested or long term ongoing work available as and when required.

Monday to Friday – £16 – £18 (inclusive of holiday pay)

Saturday – £18.50 (inclusive of holiday pay)

Sunday – £21.00 (inclusive of holiday pay)
