Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of delivery processes. This role is essential for ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods, while maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Operate various types of vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transit.
Communicate effectively with the depot staff to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
Assist in loading and unloading goods at the depot or delivery site.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
During down time you may be required to take part in yard duties.
Qualifications

Valid HGV and Hiab licence with a clean driving record.
An up to date CPC .
At least 2 years HGV and Hiab experience is required.
You must be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes.
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, particularly with flatbed vehicles.
Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
