The Best Connection have a Temp – Perm vacancy based in Winchester and are looking for someone to work a 50 hr week on nights in a team of 2 or 3 collect clear drains across Hampshire. Ideally drivers will have some similar experience of this type of work.

Responsibilities:

To operate an HGV2 vehicle and where possible help the operator carry out the drainage work
Performing pre and post vehicle checks in accordance with company policy and reporting any defects found.
Drivers must work well within a team.
Drivers must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:

Clean licence is desired.
Previous HGV2 Gully Sucking experience is essential.
Some manual handling would be needed for the drainage equipment.
Full CPC.
Good knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
PPE Required. Hi Vis vest and safety boots.
Would need to have own transport or live local to Winchester as site does not have local commuter links.
Drivers would need to be able to work from 06.00 – 16.30
The Pay rate is £12.00 for PAYE or £14.00 for Ltd drivers / umbrella.
