The Best Connection have an exciting new opportunity for HGV Class 2 drivers based in the Reading area to work in an experienced team of Refuse & Recycling staff delivering waste services.

Working Hours/ Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 16.00pm

What will you be doing?

Ensuring the safe and effective transport of the refuse vehicles across throughout the Reading borough
Transporting refuse ready for disposal and recycling
Completing critical vehicle maintenance checks
Safely transporting the teams
Liaising with and assisting other hardworking team members
Maintaining excellent customer service at all times
Assist team members with the safe removal/loading of waste/recycling bins
Be able to receive on-going training and development
What is essential?

Cat C HGV License
CPC License
Willingness to assist with Loader duties while on the road
What is desirable?

Previous waste/recycling experience
The hourly rate for this contract is £11.80 per hour
