The Best Connection are proud to be working with a local run Company in recruiting Class 1 (CE) Drivers to join their team.

Working as a team with of our transport department, you will report to the Transport Manager and be expected to deliver and collect oil material around the UK. At least 2 years’ experience is required. Further in-house driver training will be carried out during your probationary period if required (3 months).

We are looking for the following experience, skills and knowledge:

The Job:

Currently based in Hull
Shift pattern –Mon-Friday with Weekend Overtime
Full time permanent
The ability to work unsupervised
Ensuring the vehicle is kept in a good clean working order
Working with various trailers, including taughtliner, box, tail lift, tipping bulker and food skips
We are also looking for experienced tanker drivers.

Work Experience:

Experienced LGV 1 Driver (2 years’ minimum)
Full Understanding of EU Driver’s Hours and WTD Regulations
Good Standard of English, Both Written and Verbal
Skills & Knowledge:

Clean and Current Driving Licence – LGV 1 (HGV-CE) (No More Than 6 Points)
Recent LGV Driving Experience (Preferably within last 6 months)
DCPC
Digi Card
Good knowledge of the UK road network
