Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver

We are currently seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to fill a position in Radcliffe. The successful candidate will hold a current and valid Class 2 HGV Licence and must have HGV Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 HGV Driver:

Make general Haulage deliveries across the UK
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Drug testing is required for this position.
Handball is required for this role.
Requirements of the Class 2 HGV Driver:

Class 2 driver experience
Must have a clean licence
Verifiable references
Shifts are as follows:

AM Shifts:

Any 4 from 7, must include some weekends

0400-0800 start times

Plan for 12 hour shifts

PM Shifts (5% uplift in pay for full shift):

4 on 4 off, must include some weekends

1300-1600 start times

Plan for 10 hour average shift length

This role starts on the 3rd of June.
