Title: LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver / HGV Driver

Job Opportunity: Class 2 Driver (Temp to Perm) – Multidrop

Our client is a leading food wholesaler company in Battersea looking for committed class 2 drivers. They supply an extensive range of high-quality products to restaurants, pubs, schools, care homes, and hospitals. Their state-of-the-art vehicles equipped with cutting-edge technology to ensure efficient deliveries to their diverse clientele.

Hours of Work:

Day shift: start time between 05:00 am to 07:00 am.
Night shift: start time between 22:00 to midnight.
5 shifts in 7 day week, primarily Monday to Friday.
Rates of Pay:

£15.32/hour, Day Monday to Friday
£19.15/hour, Night Monday to Friday
£22.98/hour, Overtime after 8 hours Monday to Friday
£22.98/hour, Saturdays
£30.64/hour, Sundays.
Key Duties:

Deliver food and catering products to various customers, including restaurants, pubs, schools, care homes, and hospitals. Start with 9 drops and after training and going permanent it will go up to 25 drops maximum.
Utilize initiative to find drop-off points and build a strong rapport with costumers.
Transfer goods from the lorry to customers using cages stacked with pallets.
Handle physically demanding tasks, including moving heavy cages and pallets.
Ensure excellent customer service, making the customer experience seamless and enjoyable.
Adhere to health and safety protocols, using provided PPE and participating in regular training sessions.
Requirements for Role:

Class 2 qualification, CPC card and Tacho card.
Ideally worked in food/multi temperature distribution. Multi drop experience with15 to 20 drops per day.
Cash handling experience desirable.
Strong organizational skills and efficiency in managing deliveries.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and demanding tasks.
Initiative and problem-solving skills to find delivery locations.
