The Best Connection Employment Group LTD, on of the largest suppliers of drivers in the UK, are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Night Tramp/Trunker Driver for a 3 month assignment starting in October.

Currently seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to fill a position in Crawley. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 1 HGV Licence and must have FULL CPC and digital tacho card.

WHAT WE NEED – Your role as Class 1 HGV Driver

Driving an HGV CAT C+E Class 1 Vehicle. Pick up vehicle from Lingfield @ 19:00, Drive to East Grinstead, Load up, Drive to Derbyshire arrive @ 23:15 for a night out. Start up again and Load @ 03:45, Drive back to East Grinstead for 07:30, Tip at East Grinstead, Park vehicle back at Lingfield finishing @ 08:00
Just Driving role, no manual handling involved.
Carry out daily vehicle checks: – tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
Staff are expected to carry out all duties to the best of their abilities whilst being professional to all other members of staff and passengers at all times.
Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU – What we need from you as a Class 1 HGV Driver

Cat C+E Class 1 HGV License.
Minimum 2 years experience.
5 years work reference history, no gaps of greater than 30 days.
No more than 6 points on licence accepted (No DD, DR, IN codes accepted).
Your working pattern will be Monday to Friday 19:00-08:00, Off duty between 23:45-03:45 for night out.
Start date of 08/10/2020 for minimum of 3 months.
COMPENSATION – What you’ll receive as a Class 1 HGV Driver

£15.70 per hour. PAYE. Overtime after 40 hours at £20.10 per hour.
£17.70 per hour. LTD Co. Overtime after 40 hours at £22.10 per hour.
