Full job description
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver

The Best Connection are currently recruiting 7.5T/Class 2 Drivers to work for our well established clients based in the Lanarkshire and Glasgow areas for immediate starts.

Roles will include:

making home deliveries throughout Scotland as part of a two man team
Local Palletised and cage deliveries – Nightshift cage deliveries
All candidates must have excellent customer service skills as you will be acting as an ambassador for our client’s brand.
Job Role:

These can be VERY physically demanding roles so physical fitness would be an advantage.
The roles will involve lifting very heavy furniture items as a two man team and placing in the customers room of choice, some building of the furniture may apply
Unloading Pallets and cages
Excellent Customer Service skills
Sunday to Saturday work depending on Client
Requirements:

One of the duties in the home delivery role will be to call customers and inform them of your arrival time.
Good telephone manner and a strong grasp of spoken English are essential.
Good level of fitness
Candidates must be presentable and will be expected to wear dark polo shirt, dark trousers and lace up safety boots.
Timekeeping, time management and good attendance record are highly desirable qualities for this position.
Licence – Class C1- 7.5T or C – Class 2
6+ months experience
Max 6 points with no major endorsements
