HGV Class 1 Driver

Due to continued expansion we are actively seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers, to join our operations team.

Terrafirma Roadways Ltd is the sole supplier of Durabase © matting, hiring and installing throughout the UK.

Our delivery and mat system allows our customers to access sites no matter how wet, throughout the year. We have a wide ranging client base, in construction, events, crane hire, temporary builds etc. We are exceptionally strong in the utility sector, where our customers require access all year round to power grids, railway lines and energy installations.

Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Delivering, installing and recovering our Dura-Base mat system using a truck mounted crane.

. Able to work as part of a team

. Able to work as a two-man crew including nights out

Able to maintain accurate paperwork/electronic records

. Reliable and trustworthy

. A good time keeper

. Able to use their own initiative and highly motivated

. Adhere to stringent H&S working practices

Applicants must have a current HGV Class 1 licence

Previous crane experience would be preferable, but not essential, as training will be given.

The position will involve working throughout the UK and include nights out in a double sleeper cab.
