Taylor Stevenson are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in South Elmsall.

Our client is one of the largest clothing retailer in the UK.

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 / C+E nights & weekend drivers on an ongoing basis working out of the national RDC. You will be carrying pallets of clothing and retail goods on curtainsider/box trailers – no handball or offloading – trunk runs only.

We also have day positions available.
All shifts are based on your availability, and we will work around you.

Start times are varied around the clock however we have over 10+ weekend positions for Nights. Ranging anything from 18:00-01:00 start times, but we have positions for all start times to fit. MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKENDS!

All suitable applicants will require to attend a driving assessment and will then lead on to full inductions and training which are both fully paid at the basic rate.

Immediate starts required! All runs are planned weekly and confirmed start times, (times may change slightly due to operations therefore must be flexible)

REQUIREMENTS:

HGV Class 1 Experience (24 months)
Valid CPC, Digi card and Driving Licence.
Box and curtainsider experience.
No more than 6 points for driving offences.
No DD DR IN CD10 offences.
DUTIES:

Delivering palletised goods to various locations and stores, trunk runs only.
No handball or manual labour.
Carrying out POD’s.
Vehicle checks.
Good communication with transport.
RATES PAYE:

Basic: £16.85 (Days between 06:00-22:00 Monday-Saturday, overtime x1.5 of basic rate if 42+ hours – £22)

Nights between Sun-Thurs 2200-06:00 +£3ph

Friday Night 22:00-06:00 +£6ph

Sunday Day 06:00-22:00 +£6ph

Saturday Night 22:00-06:00 +£9ph

RATES HOLIDAY PAY WEEKLY:

Basic: £18.88 (Days between 06:00-22:00 Monday-Saturday, overtime x1.3 of basic rate if 42+ hours – £24.66)

Nights between Sun-Thurs 2200-06:00 +£3ph

Friday Night 22:00-06:00 +£6ph

Sunday Day 06:00-22:00 +£6ph

Saturday Night 22:00-06:00 +£9ph
