HGV Class 1 C+E Drivers Wanted!!

We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 C+E drivers for ongoing work for a haulage company based in Telford. This vacancy is for delivering and collecting containers from UK ports and transporting these to/from mainland depots.

Sunday – Friday Rota with possibility for extra shifts if requested, various start times. Day and Night drivers required.

 

What’s in it for a HGV Class 1 C+E Driver?!

Sunday to Friday Rota.
Shift lengths around 10 to 12 hours
Ongoing work 12 months of the year.
Clean and tidy vehicle no older than 5 years old.
LTD or PAYE we can accommodate your needs.
Guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift min.
Immediate starts available.
PPE provided.
Weekly pay.
Minimal interaction with the load.

Pay Rates for a HGV Class 1 C+E Driver?

£11.50 – £15 per hour

A HGV Class 1 C+E Driver must have:

Full HGV C+E Class 1 license held for at least two years and driven C+E for 90 days in past 365 days
Valid CPC card
A good understanding of Drivers hours and regulations
Good understanding of the working time directive
Excellent geographical knowledge of UK road network
Flexibility to accommodate shift patterns
Customer focused attitude
A willingness to learn

Experience:
Driving a Goods Vehicle: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence:
Driver CPC (Required)
Class 1 / Cat C+E (Required) – Held for minimum of 2 years
