Full Job Description
Stephenson Commercials are an independent Commercial vehicle repairer , carrying out all aspects of vehicle repairs, service and diagnostics to a range of vehicles from small vans to 44 ton trucks and trailers. Due to an upcoming contract of a substantial size we are looking for 1 maybe 2 technicians who are fully/semi skilled and willing to work on pretty much anything that comes through the door, though consideration would be taken to all applicants. A trailer fitter would also beneficial.

What is needed

A fully/semi skilled technician who can carry out 6 weekly inspections and HGV MOT preparation to a high standard

Class 1 licence an advantage but not essential

Must be able to use various diagnostic equipment on new vehicles. (Training will be given to the right candidate)

Self motivated, hard working and able to be left to get on with a job

Training will be given to suitable applicant if not possessing all the skills

In return we are offering between £16 – £19 ph depending on skills and ability

20 days a year plus bank holidays, birthday and Christmas Eve ( unless its a weekend )

Hours to be worked will be day shift but start and finish times can be discussed at interview to suit both parties
