HGV Class 1 Driver

Salus Recruitment Solutions, is recruiting professional HGV Class 1 drivers to come and work at their busy client’s site based in Newport, Cardiff and Bridgend area. The role offers an opportunity to work on either days or nights, with weekend working and additional shifts to suit. Any candidates will be expected to attend an assessment and upon completion we will be able to start the candidate in the new role immediately. SRS require professional drivers, who will adhere to the companies processes and ensure health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.

PAYE rates for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follows:

Days – £12 per hour

Nights – £13 per hour

Saturday – £14 per hour

Sunday – £15 per hour

For Trampers there is an additional £25 night out allowance.

Average shift length: 10-12 hours

Person Specification:
Category C E driving licence, must hold drivers smart card Digi card.
Knowledge of the UK’s roads and current tachograph legislation along with previous experience,
Full CPC card required.
No more than 6 points on your HGV licence and DD, DR, IN endorsements are not accepted.
