Software Engineer in Test

Funding Circle is looking for a talented Senior Test Engineer to help us build and evolve our testing strategy and test team across an exciting range of projects. We hire passionate, dedicated test engineers who love to explore and question every step of the software development lifecycle in an open environment.

Role expectations

• A technical expert in helping to deliver quality software.

• Be responsible for diagnosing issues, solving complex problems, and providing detailed technical analysis.

You must have

• 2+ years of Test Automation experience.
• Ability to become a subject matter expert for a product
• Understanding of web services (REST) and underlying protocols (HTTP/S,TCP/IP).
• Ability to write a variety of integration tests including API
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exposure to a variety of database systems (Postgres)
• Knowledge of scripting programming language (i.e. Ruby, Python,..)
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cucumber and Selenium

It’s nice if you have:

• Knowledge of, or interested in learning, Open Source software and Functional Programming languages, such as Clojure.
• Knowledge of Angular/Radius
• Familiarity of Jenkins, CircleCi & Docker
• Knowledge in asynchronous systems
