The Role: The Platts Service Delivery Manager position will be aligned to the Platts Application Services Process Tower. The expectation for this role is to manage Platts overall incident and problem management process, acting as incident manager on our major incidents and ensuring the appropriate delivery of our root cause analysis process.
Responsibilities
- Problem Management reporting and delivery
- Root Cause Analysis management across all Platts Technical Delivery and Support teams
- Hosting bi-weekly meetings, supported by Process tower
- Review and management of continuous improvement for
- Change Management
- Root Cause Analysis
- Patching automation
- License Management
- Periodic management Reporting of applications and team under the support of Platts Application Services, including:
- Problem Management
- Application onboarding – including tracking of risks and issues
- Monthly/Periodic reporting on all Change and Process reated reports
- Platts Risk register – taking data collected from Process team
- Establishing reporting framework to identify trends between change / incidents
- Application support backlog management to improve technical delivery/support
- Licensing
- CMDB
- Periodic Technical Delivery stakeholder management review
- Supporting the Change & Process lead at S&P Global Group level calls.
- Ensuring that ITDR plans are created, reviewed and tested on a periodical basis.
- Quality Assurance of data/periodic affirmation
Skills Required/Experience:

- Excellent Stakeholder Management to c-suite / management level
- Ability to present to various levels of management and team members
- Excellent stakeholder management (matrix management) experience.
- Intermediate understanding of technology infrastructure
- Excellent understanding Risk Management and Mitigation.
- Advanced knowledge Excel knowledge required, macro knowledge advantageous.
- Understanding of basic content management systems, such as confluence
- Excellent understanding of ITIL Management experience advantageous.
- Excellent spoken & written communication skills.
