Class 1 Driver – Days or Nights

CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS NEEDED – LIVERPOOL

Search Consultancy are looking to induct Class 1 HGV Drivers for a major retailer in the North West. After working in partnership with the client for over 10 years we want to offer driving jobs that are flexible and commit to regular working patterns.

THE JOB

You will be driving a Class 1 HGV (C+E) truck. Box Trailer

Deliveries will be made around the UK. This job will involve making store deliveries with hanging garments (no nights out!). Our Client offers an excellent 2 day training programme (Paid Training!) where you will learn all aspects of the job as well as standard health and safety procedures.

SHIFT PATTERNS

We are looking for drivers to work any 5 out of 7 days (Overtime available when within your legal hours).

Start times on days are varied between 0400-0900

Start times on nights are varied between 1700-2000

PAYE Rates of pay are:

£14.00 ph – Monday to Friday Days

£15.00 ph – Monday to Friday Nights

£16.00 ph – Saturday

£17.50 ph – Sunday

(Holiday pay will be accrued IN ADDITION to these rates)

PAYE Plus holiday pay rates are:

£15.69 ph – Monday to Friday Days

£16.81 ph – Monday to Friday Nights

£17.93 ph – Saturday

£19.61 ph – Sunday

(Holiday pay will be included in these rates)

THE DRIVER

For this job you must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.

For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 minor points on your licence.

Different levels of experience will be considered as all drivers will complete an induction which includes tail lift training. This is a physical job and drivers will be required to unload the trailer as part of the delivery to the store.

Previous tail lift experience is an advantage but not essential.
