JOB TYPE HGV DRIVER, CLASS 1 (C+E) – NO TRAMPING

Company: Seafast Containers Limited.

Location: Marchwood, Southampton, Hampshire.

Position Type: Permanent, full-time.

Hours of work: 50 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Overtime and weekend work often available.

Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
Minimum 6 months artic driving experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE

Occasional nights out and early starts are required where you are expected to:

Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to and from different UK locations, at a time specified by the customer.
Follow all traffic and safety regulations, as well as Seafast policies and procedures.
Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and any concerns are immediately reported.
Communicate effectively with the Seafast office.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
Ensure that goods are secured properly and safely, at all times.
ABOUT SEAFAST

Seafast Containers Limited are an established, family run, container haulage company based within 10 minutes of Southampton Docks.

We specialise in container haulage across the country and our regular customers include blue chip companies, high street fashion retailers and DIY equipment.

We are looking to expand our HGV fleet, whereby you are provided with your own truck to settle in, with a 24/7 support service and excellent bonus scheme package.

THE PAY

Your (gross) pay can range from £3,358.00 – £4,200.00 per month, due to our generous bonus scheme.

EXAMPLES OF BONUSES

Seafast provide an Attendance Allowance meaning that you will receive a bonus for coming into work and completing your work for that day.
It’s as simple as that in boosting your wages!

There are also some days where you will complete two deliveries in one day.
You will receive a box bonus for this, once again boosting your wages!

WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO YOU NEED?

It’s essential that you have:

A full driving licence with, at least 6 months, HGV Class 1 experience
Valid CPC and Digi card.
All Driver applicants are required to have UK Residence and the Right to Work in the UK.
It’s preferable that you have a DPWS card and experience with container haulage, but these aspects are not essential.
