HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Driver Class 1 – PCS Logistic Partners is searching for HGV Class 1 Drivers / HGV Driver Class 1 to transport goods from major fulfilment centres to depots across Midlands. This is a great opportunity for a HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Driver Class 1 to join a growing team providing professional logistic services for a global online retailer.

Key Duties:

You will be required to collect your trailer and deliver the goods to one of the depots – drivers will benefit from having pre-planned routes which are pre-programmed into a sat nav system each before shift start. No loading or manual handling required.

What is on offer:

Paid Training – structured training is provided to all new starters, this includes a full induction – you will receive full pay whilst training.

Mileage Paid / Fuel Card – all business mileage is paid for by the company plus a company fuel card is available.

Hours – working days are planned to 12 hours / 48-hour week; this includes loading time, travel time and break time. Your working day finishes when you complete your route your deliveries. Various shift pattens are available throughout the week.

Salary & Bonus – the salary is £12p/h – £14.50p/h plus attendance and performance bonus and ‘no collision bonus’. This a permanent position which includes a great holiday package and pension scheme too.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with a minimum age of 25, you must hold a Class 1 C+E Driving Licence (6 points or less) and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test. You must have excellent time management and punctuality skills; experience is preferred but not essential.
