Before we start describing our job vacancy we would like to say we are sorry, we wont be offering you a signing on bonus. We believe in better pay all year round not gimmicks. We shall not be offering inflated wage adverts just to get you interested or daft bonus schemes which you can rarely meet. We will however be 100% honest with you over the job description and earnings.

We are a small family firm from Suffolk. We are a FORS gold and CLOCs compliant company and our client is a market leader in the sale of specialist construction materials with depots across the country. Your role will be delivering multi drop between 8 to 12 drops a day, delivering to various construction sites nationwide from depots around the country

We are looking for a talented individual with the correct licence category, drivers qualification card and digi-card to join our highly skilled team, this isn’t a job for anyone, This is a job for someone who likes to stay active and enjoys exercise and getting stuck in. We would like someone who can do their job responsibly and professionally but also enjoy a smile even with challenges of daily driving that can entail.

The job also does include paperwork, keeping up to date with training courses and tool box talks which come with being the highly skilled professional driver that you are.

The truck is an automatic flatbed rigid, not new but well looked after, Load security is ratchet and straps, hopefully you have used these before but full training will be given if not.

The hours are Monday to Friday which generally starts between 6am and 7am and generally finish by 5- 6pm some days longer, some days shorter depending on traffic etc etc. 8 hour Days ? yes, sometimes, rarely, but we would rather tell you the worse case scenario than dress it up with tinsel and make out you’ll be home by lunchtime.

THIS POSITION CAN BE UP TO 4 NIGHTS OUT PER WEEK of which a night out and meal allowance is paid on top, as well as parking will be paid for. it would suit someone who enjoys being away from home as well as being flexible to do day work as well. To be honest this job is actually away from our normal vacancy so we will work together for the best solutions and outcome to suit us both.

Weekend work is available when required which is paid hourly overtime on top of your salary but if you never want to work a weekend you don’t have to, it’s voluntary its up to you.

The position is salary based the starting salary is £41,000 per annum (plus night out and meal allowance) paid weekly. I must emphasize it is STARTING at £41,000

We train you and see how you go if you are as good a driver as you know you are, the money goes up after training we reward you on your own merits (why would you want to earn the same money as someone else who maybe not working as hard as you) Positive, hard working and can do attitudes always makes more money in our book.
