Full Job Description
Roadstar Transport are looking for flexible and reliable HGV Class 2 delivery drivers to carry out various deliveries across the U.K from our base in Coventry. We are offering part-time and full-time roles with various hours and start times.

The job role will involve various driving roles, to include:

Liaising with the Transport Manager to ensure the efficient planning and movement of goods.
Safe loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring goods are not damaged prior to loading
Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
Reporting any vehicle defects or damage to the line manager
Ensuring the loads are safe and legally compliant at all times
Checking and correctly using any paperwork issued in relation to the load(s) carried.
Keeping vehicles clean and in good order.
Driving in a safe and efficient manner at all times, complying with all road legislations.
Following all site safety rules and operating in accordance with traffic management plans
Requirements * HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)Driver CPC

Understand and comply to tachograph and driver’s hours regulations
Good UK geographical knowledge
Value team work and good customer service
Have excellent communication skills
Flexible Approach
Previous experience desirable
You must be eligible to work in the UK
